An unsealed ballot box was discovered at the SK Sri Relau polling station in Paya Terubong, Penang leading to the suspension of voting
Prior to the discovery of the unsealed ballot box, 177 ballot papers had already been cast into the box, with the Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Ooi Ghee Oon making the find at SK Seri Relau.
Ooi stated his refusal to acknowledge any of the ballots within that box as legitimate votes.
