"Where Is Bella?" — Single Mum Still Missing After 2 Weeks Of Investigation
Her 24-year-old boyfriend has been arrested to assist in the investigation.
Despite extensive search efforts by the police and her family, the mysterious disappearance of a 32-year-old single mother, Mila Sharmila Samsusah, remains unsolved after two weeks
Mila, affectionately known as Bella, was last seen leaving her home in Batu Pahat, Johor, at around midnight on 14 December. She was dressed in dark blue batik attire, and had claimed she was going to a laundromat, reported the New Straits Times.
Since her disappearance, she has been unreachable via phone, with WhatsApp messages sent to her only receiving a single tick.
The mother of a four-year-old boy has a 24-year-old boyfriend, who has been arrested by the police to assist in the investigation of her disappearance.
Her family had filed two police reports at the Batu Pahat district police headquarters on 16 and 18 December.

Contrary to initial reports, surveillance camera footage shows that Bella did not visit her regular laundromat in Simpang Rantai
Bella's sister, Norhisham Samsusah, claimed that Bella went in a different direction with her boyfriend in his white Toyota Vios on 14 December, as CCTV footage at the laundromat did not capture any glimpse of Bella on the day.
The sister also claimed that Bella and her boyfriend got into an argument, leading to her being dropped off near a Thai food restaurant on Jalan Kenangan, Kampung Bahagia on 14 December.
Norhisham said the family was surprised to find the basket of clothes Bella was supposed to take to the laundromat in her house on 15 December, the day after she was reported missing.
According to the sister, CCTV footage from Bella's neighbour showed her boyfriend carrying a basket full of clothes into her house in the early morning of 15 December and leaving four minutes later.

"What raised our doubts is that [a day after Bella went missing], we used Bella's mobile phone tracking application, and her last location showed she was in front of her house," said Norhisham
"Still, there's uncertainty about whether Bella was in her boyfriend's car when the man [sent back] the clothes basket or if the man only had Bella's mobile phone," she added.
The police told Norhisham that there has been a development in her sister's disappearance case. However, the authorities did not divulge any details as the investigation is still ongoing.

Bella's boyfriend is currently being remanded until 30 December to assist in the investigation under Section 365 of the Penal Code for kidnapping
On Tuesday, 26 December, Batu Pahat district police chief ACP Ismail Dollah said that the police have called in five individuals for questioning, reported Berita Harian.
The police asked the worried family to remain patient as they continue their investigation into Bella's disappearance, and urged members of the public not to speculate.
