The Putrajaya District Police Headquarters (IPD) has fined six of its own officers during a surprise special operation at the station's gate
According to New Straits Times, on the morning of Tuesday, 8 October, Putrajaya district police chief ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed led the operation alongside one officer, eight traffic personnel, and two members of the Integrity and Standards Compliance Department.

Of the total summonses issued, five were for expired licences, and one was for driving without a licence
"This operation aims to ensure that the personnel of the Putrajaya district police headquarters comply with traffic laws and regulations, such as holding valid driving licences and having valid road tax," said Aidi Sham.
He added that the operation aims to educate and promote awareness about the importance of ensuring vehicle users adhere to existing requirements and regulations.
He expressed hope that the operation would also foster camaraderie among Putrajaya IPD personnel in ensuring individual safety and public interest.
