Sergeant Arrested For Hosting Loud And Dimly Lit Party At Police Station With 4 Guests
An internal investigation is underway.
A police sergeant was arrested for hosting a party with four guests at a police station in Shah Alam at 1.30am last Saturday, 28 September
According to China Press, the party was held in the lounge area of the Anti-Vice, Anti-Gambling, and Secret Society Division (D7) within the police station.
Despite being behind two separate doors, loud music could be heard from the lounge.
The police's Integrity and Standards Compliance unit raided the room and discovered the sergeant along with a local man, a local woman, and two Indonesian women.
The room was dimly lit, and no drugs or alcoholic beverages were discovered. Only various snacks, cakes, and energy drinks were found on the table.
The sergeant has been identified as a member of the D7 unit
All five suspects have been arrested for further investigation.
Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim party confirmed the arrest to Oriental Daily, stating that an internal investigation is ongoing and no further information can be disclosed at this stage.
