[VIDEO] Customer Smashes Coffee Cup In Anger After Exchanging Words With A Kopitiam Staff
Netizens claim the man was asked not to smoke on the premises.
A recent incident at a kopitiam in Negeri Sembilan, in which a customer threw a coffee cup and saucer onto the floor, smashing them into pieces, has drawn attention on social media after a video of it went viral
The outburst occurred following an interaction with a staff member, who — netizens claim — asked the customer wearing a green T-shirt not to smoke on the premises.
In the video posted on platforms like Facebook and X, formerly Twitter, two men are seen seated at a table near the entrance of the eatery. While the video captions claim that one of the men was smoking, visual evidence from the footage, which lacks audio, shows neither man appearing to smoke.
After a brief exchange of words, the customer gestures for the staff member to leave their table.
Shortly after, the man in the green T-shirt pushed a coffee cup and saucer off the table, resulting in a crash as the porcelain items hit the ground and shattered into pieces.
