[VIDEO] Man Allegedly Starts Massive Brawl In JB Club After His Girlfriend Was Harassed
At least 50 people can be seen not observing physical distancing in the entertainment outlet.
Police are investigating a viral video of a large-scale brawl at an entertainment centre in Johor that was allegedly started by an angered boyfriend
According to Sinar Harian, the incident took place at a club located in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Skudai on Monday, 4 January.
Johor police chief Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said the fight began at about 11.45pm after a woman was harassed.
"This caused a commotion. Other visitors took advantage of the situation and started a fight among themselves as well," Ayob Khan said in a statement yesterday, 6 January.

The police came to learn of the incident after receiving a video of the brawl
Based on a 15-second long video SAYS sighted, at least 50 people can be seen gathering in the entertainment outlet without observing physical distancing.
The sound of beer bottles breaking can be heard in the video and over a dozen people can be seen engaging in the clash.
Some people attempt to stop the altercation, while female customers can be seen being pulled away from danger.

The police managed to arrest three individuals involved in the fight
The suspects — aged between 21 and 28 years old — were arrested at 7pm yesterday, reported Bernama.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 148 and Section 324 of the Penal Code for possessing weapons at a riot and causing hurt with them.
If convicted, the suspects could face imprisonment of up to five and ten years for each offence respectively.
The police will also investigate if there is any element of gangsterism in the incident.
