A Volunteer & A Mother And Child Among 9 Lives Lost To Selangor Floods
The police will only reveal the names of the victims after their bodies have been identified by family members.

A volunteer was among nine individuals who have been confirmed dead in the Selangor floods
According to Astro Awani, six bodies were found in Taman Sri Muda, one of the hardest-hit flood areas in the Klang Valley.
Of the six, two are believed to be a mother and child, whose bodies were discovered and taken out at 4pm yesterday, 20 December.
"The police will reveal the identity of all victims right after the corpse identification process is completed by their family members," said Shah Alam district police chief ACP Baharudin Mat Taib
"We have yet to determine the identity of the victims. We will notify you once the process is completed," Malaysia Gazette quoted him as saying at the Taman Sri Muda residential area yesterday.
Meanwhile, Fire and Rescue Department operation director Datuk Nor Hisham Mohammad revealed that out of the nine victims, two are believed to have drowned in Dengkil, Sepang in separate cases.
Their identities have not been determined as well.
As for the body found in Desa Coalfields, Kuala Selangor, Nor Hisham said it could be the driver of a trailer.
