PUBG Mobile is adding a spooky twist to Halloween with the launch of the Jelmaan collection, inspired by Malaysian ghost stories

Players can take on the role of a terrifying pocong and haunt the battlegrounds from 8 October to 11 November.

The Jelmaan collection in PUBG Mobile introduces the limited Restless Pocong set, featuring four themed items designed by local Malaysian game designers. Inspired by the pocong ghost from Malaysian and Indonesian folklore, this set offers a spooky and immersive gaming experience.

The Restless Pocong set includes a variety of items that will allow players to embody the spirit of the restless dead on the battlegrounds

The set includes the following items:

- The Restless Pocong: A unique outfit that gives the character a ghostly appearance.
- The Pocong Shadow: A themed skin for the DBS gun.
- The Pocong Wanderer: A backpack adorned with a pocong theme.
- Elusive Pocong: A frying pan with a unique design.

The Pocong Shadow is undoubtedly the highlight of the Jelmaan collection, transforming the popular DBS shotgun into a spooky weapon that perfectly complements the Halloween theme. As a Mythic-level item, the Pocong Shadow can only be acquired through the lucky chance event, allowing players to obtain it with minimal cost at just 10 UC per attempt.

By equipping the Restless Pocong set, players can strike fear into the hearts of their opponents and create a truly chilling atmosphere during their matches.

In addition to the Restless Pocong set, players can expect to see more ghost-inspired items added to the game in the future, such as a pontianak gun skin

The introduction of these Halloween-themed items not only adds a festive touch to the game but also offers players new and exciting ways to express their creativity and individuality.

"We are always paying attention to our PUBG Mobile community on what makes them enjoy the game even more. To enhance our current Version 3.4, the introduction of these characters can strengthen our mission to make PUBG Mobile made for Malaysians," said Eugene Chin Yuan Hao, Tencent Games Country Manager for Malaysia, in a press release.
