Tesla owners can find it at the Skudai R&R stop on the southbound lane of the North-South Expressway in Johor.
This Supercharger station has four V4 charging stalls, each capable of delivering up to 250kW of power. This means Tesla drivers can quickly recharge their cars and get back on the road. However, actual charging speeds may vary depending on your car's battery level and the number of Teslas are charging simultaneously.
There's a slight difference with the new Tesla Supercharger station at Skudai R&R Southbound
Tesla recently lowered its Supercharger fees in Malaysia by about 10%, from RM1.25 per kWh to RM1.13 per kWh. However, the Skudai R&R station seems to be an exception.
For some reason, the charging fee at Skudai R&R Southbound is still RM1.25 per kWh, following the old rate. The idle fee, which applies when the station is full and you stay connected after your car is charged, remains the same at RM4.00 per minute.
It's unclear why this particular station hasn't adopted the new lower pricing, but it's something Tesla drivers should be aware of when charging there.
The launch of the V4 Supercharging Station at Skudai R&R marks a significant step in expanding Tesla's charging network in Malaysia
With this addition, Tesla now operates 13 Supercharging stations with a total of 60 Superchargers, alongside 13 Destination Charging stations offering 64 chargers.
This growing network provides more comprehensive coverage and convenience for Tesla owners across the country, supporting Tesla's commitment to expanding the electric vehicle infrastructure in Malaysia.
