UPDATE:
School Clarifies Viral Photo Of Bloodied Girl Was Due To Accident, Not Bullying
A disturbing image of a young primary school girl with visible bloodstains on her uniform has gone viral on social media, sparking public concern
The photo, apparently taken from inside a moving vehicle, shows the child sitting in the passenger seat, wearing a white, long-sleeved school uniform heavily stained with what appears to be blood.
The blood stains are visible on her right shoulder, chest, and lap.
Her left hand and wrist are wrapped in a blood-soaked white cloth or tissue, indicating a significant injury to that limb.
Police have since confirmed that the incident occurred at a primary school in Sipitang, Sabah, earlier today, 16 October, involving two students
Sipitang district police chief Supt Awang Anak Suanda said an investigation is currently underway, according to reports.
"The incident involved two schoolmates. The investigation is ongoing," he told Buletin TV3, reported FMT.
According to Berita Harian, the incident is believed to have taken place around 11am, when the boy allegedly struck the girl with a belt, injuring her head.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness.
