Korean restaurant MODU has officially opened its second Malaysian outlet, and this time, it's bringing a whole new dining experience to KLGCC Mall

Following the success of their first outlet at The Exchange TRX, MODU's new KLGCC branch introduces an expanded menu featuring 13 different Samgyetang flavours, including luxurious options like Truffle Samgyetang, Abalone Samgyetang, and exclusive creations such as Scorched Rice Samgyetang (Nurungji).
Located on Level 3 of KLGCC Mall, the new outlet combines Korean-inspired architecture and a much more relaxed, intimate vibe, complete with views overlooking the golf course.

For its KLGCC outlet, MODU has introduced its largest Samgyetang collection yet, with flavours ranging from classic favourites to more modern creations
Each bowl is made using organic chicken, premium ingredients, Korean medicinal herbs, and a broth that is slow-simmered for 12 hours.
Some of the highlights include:
– Black Chicken & Octopus Samgyetang (RM70) — A seafood and poultry combination with deeper umami flavours.
– Truffle Samgyetang (RM64) — A luxe version of the classic soup infused with the aroma of black truffle.
– Mushroom Samgyetang (RM58) — A comforting bowl packed with earthy mushroom flavours.
– Black Garlic Samgyetang (RM64) — A rich and nourishing option with black garlic.
– Black Chicken Samgyetang (RM64) — Made with premium black chicken for a more indulgent experience.
– Abalone Samgyetang (RM68) — Featuring abalone for an extra premium touch.

For something unique to the KLGCC outlet, diners can also try the Scorched Rice Samgyetang (Nurungji), which combines crispy scorched rice with MODU's signature ginseng-infused broth for a comforting mix of textures.
There's also the Curry Laksa Samgyetang, which blends Korean-style Samgyetang with Malaysian and Nyonya curry laksa flavours, complete with taupok and bean sprouts.

Unlike the TRX branch, the KLGCC location introduces an open charcoal grill
The Signature Grill Set comes with a selection of chicken cuts including chicken thigh, marinated chicken thigh, chicken tender, chicken gizzard, and chicken soft bone, all grilled individually by chefs and paired with house sauces.
Guests can also watch the grilling process at the open charcoal grill counter, where the preparation becomes part of the dining experience.

Spanning around 5,500 sq ft, MODU KLGCC takes inspiration from traditional Korean Hanok architecture, featuring warm wood tones, Korean lattice details, and soft lighting
The restaurant has around 100 seats, along with private VIP rooms for gatherings, business meals, and special occasions.
The open kitchen sits at the centre of the space, allowing diners to watch chefs prepare each dish with precision.

For those who want to try a little bit of everything, the 2-Gather Sharing Set (RM175 for two) includes:
– Two Samgyetang flavours of your choice
– One sharing dish
– One teapot for two
– Traditional Korean honey dessert Yagkwa
Beyond Samgyetang, MODU also serves dishes such as handmade Kalguksu noodles, Water Parsley Pancake, Potato Pancake, Spicy Mixed Noodles, Tofu Trio Platter, Grilled Rice Balls, Chicken Gizzard Popcorn, and Korean Chicken Porridge.
Sticking to its Korean wellness dining philosophy, MODU uses Halal-certified premium ingredients and follows a 'No Pork, No Lard, No Alcohol' concept.
