The highlight of the event will be an intense battle of the rock bands

According to New Straits Times, the AOSM and SoundCircus Weekender festival director, Asep Ahmad Iskandar, said that the highlight of the event would be the battle of the bands session featuring ten new bands from various genres, including indie, rock, and reggae.

Among the bands competing will be Porcelane, Absur, Zerophobia, The Hard-Crops, Meteorix, and many other local wonders.

The SoundCircus music event began in 2017 as a small-scale gig with the aim of providing a platform for underground artists to showcase their work

By 2019, the event had grown to accommodate an overwhelming 5,000 people.

The festival hopes to create a safe place for fans to enjoy a weekend of great music alongside other like-minded attendees, and shine a spotlight on local talents who have not been given the opportunities they deserve.
