'Cats' The Musical Has Cancelled All Shows In Malaysia

You can get a seat upgrade in Singapore instead.

We have meow-st upsetting news: 'Cats' the Musical will not be making its way to Malaysia during the Asian leg of its International Tour

In a press release provided to SAYS, Base Live Entertainment cited "unforeseen changes in the touring schedule" as the reason for the cancellation.

'Cats' was scheduled to play from 16 January to 2 February, 2020. It would have been the musical's second time in Malaysia.

However, TicketCharge is offering a free seat upgrade for ticket holders who wish to catch the show at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

The musical has confirmed its run in Singapore from 17 December, 2019 to 5 January, 2020.

"Existing ticket holders can transfer their tickets to the Singapore season and receive a complimentary seat upgrade," the press release read.

"For ticket holders who have purchased Premium Front and Premium tickets, they will receive a complimentary programme book and an autographed show poster."

Otherwise, full refunds can be claimed after 1 November

Patrons who have purchased tickets via TicketCharge's website, office, or authorised outlets will be given a full refund - inclusive of processing fees and overseas courier charges, where applicable.

Online payments via credit or debit card:
A full refund will be made to the same credit or debit card from 1 November. No refund forms need to be submitted. The reversal amount will be reflected in the card statement within 30 days.

Cash payments:
An online transfer of the refund will be made after the original physical tickets are returned to the TicketCharge office by the original purchaser with proof of identity.

Outstation or overseas customers:
Download the refund form, fill in the details, and email it to TicketCharge along with a copy of identification documents. Original tickets will need to be couriered back to TicketCharge.
