Malaysians Flocked To Quayside Mall To Meet & Lou Sang With The One And Only Donnie Yen
Lucky fans were even treated to an early screening of his latest movie.

Last weekend, Malaysians were in for a treat as they got the chance to meet popular Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen
Best known for his iconic role in the Ip Man film series, the legendary superstar recently had a two-day Malaysian tour to promote Sakra, his upcoming action-packed movie that's adapted from renowned Chinese novelist Louis Cha's best-selling wuxia classic, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils.
In addition to starring in Sakra, Donnie Yen also serves as the movie's director and co-producer. It also stars Chen Yuqi, Cya Liu, Kara Wai, Wu Yue, and Cheung Siu Fai, with special guest appearances by Lui Leung Wai and Tsui Siu Ming.

Image via Gamuda Land (Provided to SAYS)The event included a fans meet-and-greet session, and concluded with a Special Fans Screening at MBO Cinemas where 1,200 moviegoers had the opportunity for an early screening ahead of the movie's premiere on 16 January.
Plus, through Quayside Mall's Spend & Win campaign, ten lucky draw winners got an incredible opportunity to start the Chinese New Year celebrations early with an exclusive lou sang session with the Hong Kong movie star.
As part of the campaign, shoppers who spent a minimum of RM88 at the mall were able to redeem two free tickets to the early Special Fans Screening, as well as enter the lucky draw.
Chin Chek Siong, a resident of the twentyfive7 township who shops regularly at Quayside Mall excitedly shared, "I've always been hesitant to join lucky draw contests as I've never won. When I was informed that I was one of the lucky winners who gets to lou sang with Donnie Yen, I was speechless. This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I'll never forget, and is definitely the most special Chinese New Year for me."
And for little ones aged five to 12 years old, there was a Flourishing Prosperity X Sakra Colouring Contest, which saw Donnie Yen personally giving out prizes to the winners in a special prize-giving ceremony.
