Malaysian influencer Cheryl Chin and Singaporean former OnlyFans creator Titus Low have announced their split after one-and-a-half years of marriage

They announced their split on their respective Instagram Stories on Monday, 20 November. The duo, who got engaged after knowing each other for only two weeks, said that their love for each other will continue even after their separation.

"For the past year and a half, I made so many beautiful memories that will last a lifetime with Titus. I'm so grateful to have called him my husband, and the father of my child," said Chin, a former talent under Jianhao Tan's Titan Digital Media who recently launched her beauty product company, cclo-up.

"I wanted to share how much we both tried and love each other very very much still. Wishing him well always, as we are both our daughter's parents — our focus will be on creating a healthy relationship around giving her a beautiful life," she added.

Meanwhile, Low said their split was "mutual" after realising they are "their own characters, with different personalities and directions in life".

"At present what is most important to us is our daughter, Elleria, and her well-being. We want her to have the best upbringing regardless of circumstances.

"Cheryl and I will still be good friends and maintain a healthy relationship throughout. Looking to the future, I will take this chance to focus on building my individual career path and discover myself more," he said.

Despite their brief marriage, their separation surprised many fans, given the challenges they had faced

Their relationship started off on a sprint around June last year when the then 23-year-old Low asked Chin to marry him after six hours of officially dating, according to The Star.

Low announced his engagement with Chin just two weeks after the pair met at a social networking event. Low said in a YouTube video that he immediately knew Chin was "the one".

In September 2022, the newlyweds announced that they were having a baby, whom they eventually named Elleria.

AsiaOne reported that the couple had a fight in the following month when Low had a steamy collaboration with fellow OnlyFans content creator from Malaysia, Ms Puiyi. The collaboration had upset Chin.

Shortly after, the trio managed to patch things up, with Chin praising Puiyi, "Only strong women bring other women up."

Things turned south again in October 2022 when Low was jailed for uploading obscene materials on OnlyFans and breaching a police order by accessing his account while under investigation

He was jailed for three weeks and fined SGD3,000 (RM10,400).

When Low came out of jail, he and Chin threw a gender reveal party.

As of today, 24 November, photos of them together can still be found on their respective social media accounts.

Chin, in an Instagram post yesterday, 23 November, admitted that she had made a "fair share of mistakes" for being "impulsive", but her focus now is her daughter.

She reiterated that Low will forever have a special place in her heart, and that they will ensure a healthy co-parenting relationship for their daughter.

The 23-year-old OnlyFans creator-turned-DJ responded to the post with a heart.

The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) revealed yesterday, 23 November, that there were 62,890 divorce cases last year:
