MBO Cinemas 'Signs Off' With Last Facebook Post Bidding Farewell To Its Patrons
However, it is unclear if the cinema is closing down for good.

Despite previous reports of MBO's temporary closure, the cinema had refuted those claims in October last year.
On 2 March, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) was reported by The Edge Markets to have signed an agreement to acquire MBO Cinemas, as the pandemic has affected many businesses in the entertainment sector. The deal is expected to be completed by June.
MBO currently has 27 cineplexes across 10 states, making it the third-largest cinema operator in Malaysia after GSC and TGV Cinemas.
Comments on the company's recent Facebook post reveals that many are saddened by the news, as they shared their fond memories of visiting MBO's cineplexes
The company, however, left a comment on the post hinting that it may not completely disappear and there may just be a new management team.
SAYS has reached out to MBO for comment and has yet to receive any updates on whether or not it will be permanently closing down.
