The world was shaken by the tragic news of Liam Payne's passing after the English singer fell from the balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, 16 October

As fans mourn the loss of the beloved One Direction star, his former bandmates — Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik — have shared their grief through emotional tributes, honouring their friend and reflecting on their time together as a family.

The band posted a joint statement on Instagram today, expressing their deep sorrow over the loss of their brother and reflecting on the cherished memories they created together.

In addition to the joint message, Harry, Louis, and Zayn took to their personal social media accounts to honour Liam with individual tributes

Zayn shared a touching photo of them napping together and opened up about how Liam had been a source of comfort during difficult times.

"When I was missing home as a 17-year-old kid, you would always be there with a positive outlook and reassuring smile and let me know you were my friend and that I was loved," he wrote.

Louis posted a heartfelt message alongside a photo of them on stage, reflecting on their deep bond. "I feel beyond lucky to have had you in my life, but I'm really struggling with the idea of saying goodbye... I wish I had the chance to tell you one more time how much I loved you," he added.

Harry also shared his grief, writing about how Liam's greatest joy was making others happy. "Liam lived wide open, with his heart on his sleeve, he had an energy for life that was infectious. He was warm, supportive, and incredibly loving... I will miss him always, my lovely friend."
