Malaysians Are Congratulating Yuna After Her Song Was Played During New York Fashion Week

Malaysian breakthrough artist Yuna has achieved a seriously cool milestone this week - her song was played during the highly anticipated Oscar de la Renta fashion show in New York City.

A remixed version of her 2012 hit 'Lullabies' was played during the grand finale of the New York Fashion Week show on 12 February.

The singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share a video of supermodel Bella Hadid walking the runway while 'Lullabies' played in the background

Yuna's video has received over 94,000 views at the time of writing.

Hadid, who was dressed in a strapless black gown during the show, also shared a clip on Instagram of her catwalk to the song during rehearsals.

Malaysian netizens flooded the comment section of Yuna's post to express their pride and congratulate the musician

'Lullabies' is a song from the 32-year-old's self-titled album in 2012

The song, which Yuna wrote, was produced by Grammy-nominated British music producer Chris Braide.
