But let's be honest… a lot of Malaysians had their eyes on the good bois and girls at this year's National Day parade.
The K9s were part of a group of 112 service animals from six agencies that took part in this year's National Day parade in Putrajaya on 31 August, but judging from the footage, they weren't just there to march. They were also there to collect fans.

The dogs showed up in their little booties, with some even sporting protective goggles as they made their way through the parade
The level of drip was unmatched.
While their handlers had to maintain serious parade-face energy, the dogs were busy giving Malaysians plenty of wholesome moments to capture.
Some were calmly marching alongside their handlers, while others looked like they were wondering when they could finally clock out and get their treats.

Not every good boi made it through the parade on four paws
One of the dogs was spotted being carried by his handler, making for an especially adorable moment.
We're not sure what happened before the cameras started rolling, but we're choosing to believe he decided he wasn't ready to leave.

Then there was Xiao Bao, aka the kepochi one
No group of dogs is complete without that one friend who cannot mind their own business.
In one video, two K9 dogs can be seen getting into a little scuffle while another dog watches from the background.

That dog, who was later affectionately nicknamed 'Kepochi', seemed very interested in the drama happening in front of him.
His real name is Xiao Bao, which means "little bao".
But based on that footage, we're pretty sure Kepochi is going to stick.
He wasn't involved in the fight. He just had to know what was going on.
Behind all the adorable parade footage, these K9s are highly trained working dogs who play an important role in keeping Malaysians safe
This year's parade featured service animals from multiple agencies, with dogs taking part alongside their handlers in the march-past.
They can detect targets, search for people, assist their handlers and perform all sorts of important duties.
But on 31 August, they also had one very important additional job: Being extremely cute in front of thousands of Malaysians.
Mission accomplished, good bois.
