It all began with a Facebook post on 30 June…

Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) went viral earlier this month after one of their Facebook admins addressed a few frequently asked questions about the theatre operator's new standard operating procedures (SOPs) with much sass.

To all these questions, the admin only had two words: "HELLO. CANNOT."

The Facebook post has since gained over 49,000 likes and 27,000 shares, as netizens found themselves doubled over in laughter

On Saturday, 18 July, GSC launched their own limited edition T-shirts, turning 'HELLO. CANNOT.' into an iconic tagline to be remembered

GSC shared a photo of the newly released T-shirt alongside the casual caption, "2020 mood:".

Going for RM29.90 a piece, the tops sold out almost immediately after its launch

Following its instant success, the limited edition tees were restocked later that same day.

Netizens scrambled to grab the 'HELLO. CANNOT.' T-shirts, only to find that they sold out the very next day, 19 July

Despite popular demand, there are no signs of the tees making a comeback anytime soon.

However, that did not stop Malaysians from voicing out their wants.

One person even tried to recreate the design:

Whether or not you managed to get a T-shirt, you'll now be able to catch these 12 movies currently being screened in cinemas:

In the past, several Malaysian shoppers did whatever it took to get their hands on UNIQLO's limited edition items:

This T-shirt sporting the phrase "Is it because I'm Chinese?" emerged after a Go-Jek passenger in Singapore accused her driver of kidnapping her in February 2019:
