[VIDEO] Mouse Caught On Camera Secretly Tidying Man's Shed Every Night
A night vision camera captured the rodent diligently gathering various items and placing them on a tray.
Mice are commonly known for creating chaos or leaving behind a mess.
Defying this typical stereotype, one mouse has been filmed diligently tidying up a man's shed every night for the past two months.
Wildlife photographer Rodney Holbrook was astounded to discover that items left strewn in his shed magically found their way back to their original places overnight, as reported by The Guardian.
To unravel this mysterious nightly phenomenon, Holbrook decided to set up a night vision camera on his workbench.
"At first, I noticed that some food that I was putting out for the birds was ending up in some old shoes I was storing in the shed, so I set up a camera," said the 75-year-old from Wales, UK.
Amazingly, the night vision camera captured a rodent diligently gathering clothes pegs, corks, nuts, and bolts, then placing them on a tray.
"I couldn't believe it when I saw that the mouse was tidying up. It has been going on for months. I call him Welsh Tidy Mouse," Holbrook said.
Holbrook revealed that he conducted further experiments by deliberately leaving out various objects to test the mouse's capabilities
Much to his surprise, the creature proved undeterred and was even observed transporting cable ties to a designated spot.
Holbrook also stated that ever since he observed the mouse cleaning his shed, he admitted, "I don't even bother to tidy up now, as I know he will see to it."
"I leave things out of the box and they are put back in place by the morning. 99 times out of 100 the mouse will tidy up throughout the night," he said.
