With a total of 419 videos on the short-form mobile video platform, Kyo Kaedee has gained a large following for dressing up as characters such as Fumikage Tokoyami from the anime My Hero Academia, Kamen Rider Black, and even Marvel superheroes such as Spider-Man and Iron Man.
His most popular videos are tutorials on making DIY costumes using affordable material such as ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam
He has made helmets, body armour, and even biceps using EVA foam.
Most of the outfits require very simple tools to make such as scissors, glue, and marker pens.
Besides cosplay videos, Kyo Kaedee also shares snippets of his daily life as a dad on TikTok.
According to Kyo Kaedee, some haters have said that his hobby is childish and his costumes seem cheap.
He addressed this matter in a video and it has since gone viral with over 264,000 views.
In the clip, Kyo Kaedee quoted haters who have said, "You're like a child", "Don't you have a job?", and "Haha, cheap costume".
The video was captioned, "Costume content might not suit our people."
He then explained how he was once a child who loved superheroes.
"I was once a kid who loved superheroes but didn't have the ability. Now I that I have the ability and the knowledge, I continue to pursue my interests and share it with the public. I'm only sharing happiness from my childhood. I apologise if my content is unpleasant," he noted.

In total, the video has over 1,400 comments and most of them encourage him to not give up.
