A graduate from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) captured the attention of multiple Malaysian brands on TikTok for his striking good looks

Hailing from Selangor, the student, Fahd Mohd Fauzi, recently uploaded a snippet of himself in graduation robes at his convocation ceremony on TikTok.

In less than a week, the 18-second video amassed over 5.4 million views and was unexpectedly flooded with comments from hundreds of popular Malaysian brands.

Interestingly, they all seemed to be leaving playful relationship offers to him in the comments section, each stating their 'names', 'age', and 'special skills'.

Later, Fahd revealed that he's also a commercial model, which may be why he received so many comments from Malaysian companies

Nonetheless, in an interview with Harian Metro, he expressed surprise at having attracted so much attention with his video.

The 23-year-old, who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, shared that while he's accustomed to receiving compliments for his appearance, this is the first time it has escalated to receiving relationship proposals, albeit jokingly.

"I also saw comments from accounts of prominent companies I had collaborated with before, and I am delighted that some brands are interested in providing modelling opportunities," the Malay daily quoted him as saying.

He added that he will be modelling full-time while waiting for a job offer in his field of study.

However, Fahd also expressed his aspirations to become an international model, with a particular interest in expanding his modelling career in Europe.

In a conversation with SAYS, Fahd shared that he entered the modelling industry at the age of 21

"I started modelling when I was scouted by a local designer on Instagram to walk the ramp for their show in KL Fashion Week 2021 (KLFW21)," said Fahd.

"After my debut in the industry during KLFW21, things went exceptionally well as people in the field began to notice and recognise the potential in me," he added.
