This Supermum In Terengganu Built Her Kids A Swimming Pool From Scratch
She did it all in less than a month.
A woman from Terengganu has recently gained netizens' attention for building her kids a swimming pool from scratch
On Sunday, 3 November, a woman shared on Facebook that she wanted to make her dream of building her kids a pool come true, in conjunction with her birthday.
Hezline Atherra wrote, "I'm not privileged, but this small garden pool is enough to make me happy, as long as I get to see my children play and grow up in front of my eyes."
"I may be busy, but this is my way of finding happiness for me and my family. I've had this dream for years, finally it's a reality."
With a budget of RM5,000, Hezline managed to build the mini pool within just a month
Hezline told SAYS that she had been planning this project for three years now and she has always had a rough sketch of how she wanted the pool to look like in her head.
"I have a diploma in Civil Engineering, so I know the basics of building the pool," she added.
Also a part-time businesswoman and make-up artist, Hezline shared that there were many steps involved in making the project a success
When asked whether she did this by herself, she told SAYS that she had the help of her husband and her sisters.
"It may look easy, but I felt like I was going to lose my ovaries completing this," she joked.
The mother's determination left netizens in awe
One person wrote, "At this point, I believe women can really do anything."
Another netizen said, "Wow! This mother is incredible. If her children don't appreciate her, I don't know what to say. You're really a superwoman, sis."
"You don't play with a mother's dedication. If she wanted to, she could even build a house," said another Twitter user.
