Forget Prince Charming, Anisha Rosnah has snagged a real-life Prince Abdul Mateen!

Following an elaborate wedding celebration, one of "Asia's hottest" and "most eligible bachelors" is officially off the market.

Brunei's 32-year-old Prince Abdul Mateen recently got married to 29-year-old Anisha Rosnah in a 10-day royal ceremony, which began on 7 January and ended on 16 January.

Prior to their engagement in October 2023, the couple were reportedly dating for several years, although little is known about how their relationship blossomed.

So, who is Anisha Rosnah? Here's what we know so far about the Bruneian prince's new wife:

1. Anisha's brother, Danial Isa Kelbic, is said to be Prince Mateen's childhood friend. The trio even have photos together as kids.

Anisha is also the granddaughter of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah's special advisor, Pehin Dato' Haji Isa Ibrahim.

Prince Mateen is the fourth son and 10th child of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, the longest-reigning monarch of Brunei. Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah was once the richest man on the planet, with an estimated net worth of nearly USD28 billion (RM132 billion).

Although Anisha shares close ties with the royal family and comes from a prestigious background, she is indeed still seen as a commoner.

Danial once posted this childhood photo of himself hugging a reluctant Prince Mateen on Instagram, with a caption that reads, "Guess the feelings were never mutual haha.. Happy birthday, bro!"

According to multiple reports, she did her bachelor's degree in The University of Bath.

3. She is the owner of fashion brand Silk Collective and co-owns a tourism company

She reportedly runs a tourism company, known as Authentirary, with a friend. It's a travel agency that offers cultural experiences in various countries.

4. She apparently loves cooking

She has an Instagram page where she reportedly teaches her followers how to cook.

Though much of the royal couple's dating life has been kept under wraps, they have been seen attending several weddings together, including her brother's, and even working out together at the gym.
