This Cave In Malaysia Takes You Through Different Levels Of 'Hidden' Chambers & Streams
Slide, crawl, and get soaked.
Adventure seekers, there's a fun activity in Gopeng that you're going to love
Extending to 3km, Gua Tempurung is known as one of the longest and largest limestone caves in Peninsular Malaysia.
Parts of it have been developed with walkways and lighting, making it easy to access and admire its magnificent stalagmites and stalactites.
There are four cave tours you can take with different levels of difficulty that range from easy to advanced
On the easier tour levels, you can stroll on dry pathways and staircases, and the entire tour can be completed within an hour.
On the more advanced levels, you will be taken through tunnels, chambers, and streams located inside the cave. It's an exhilarating experience as you slide down boulders, crawl through holes, and get your adrenaline pumping (be prepared to get wet!).
If you're someone who loves a challenge, it's highly recommended to go for the most advanced level. This tour takes several hours and will be an adventure to remember.
Guides will accompany you and give some background information and history about the cave.

For the intermediate and advanced levels, you can bring a torch light or headlamp — safety helmets are available for rent
It's also recommended to dress comfortably (as you will be crawling and sliding) and wear shoes that can get wet instead of slippers, as it can get slippery on the rocks.
The dry tours are around RM8 to RM12 per person, while the wet tours are roughly RM30 per person. Take note that they will only take groups of more than five people on the more challenging routes and it'll depend on the weather conditions and water levels in the cave.
Tours start from 9am. Contact them for more information: +6014-2204142 or +6012-5292426.
