The World's Longest Zip Coaster Is Now Open In Malaysia
'Fly' through the trees for six whole minutes!
ESCAPE Penang theme park has earned itself another Guinness World Record title, after its recent launch of the world's longest zip coaster
The 1,135m ride lets thrill seekers 'fly' through tree tops with twists and turns for a full six minutes
The new zip coaster was completed during the pandemic and launched on 12 May, making ESCAPE Penang the first theme park to hold two Guinness World Records, with the first title being the world's longest water slide.
If you want to try the zip coaster, you will first be taken on a chairlift ride to the take-off platform.
Once you're harnessed in, you'll be sent whizzing through lush greenery while feeling the wind against your skin as you dangle in the air.
ESCAPE Penang has heaps of thrilling rides and activities, including a banana flip, a rope obstacle course, and water slides
Back in 2019, ESCAPE Penang launched the world's longest water slide with a distance of 1,140m. The entire ride lasts for four minutes, as visitors slide down from a hilltop before making a splash in the theme park's swimming pool.
In 2020, the theme park opened another branch in Paradigm Mall PJ, which has multiple-tiered rope courses, a flying trapeze, and bungee jumping, among other exciting rides.
