If you thought IOI City Mall in Putrajaya was already massive, get ready 'cause it's about to get even bigger

Already recognised as the largest mall in Malaysia and the second-largest in Asia, IOI City Mall is expanding once again with the launch of Phase 3 this month.

To make way for this huge expansion, certain roads around the mall will be temporarily closed starting 28 February.

If you're planning a visit, be sure to check the rerouting maps in advance to navigate your way smoothly.

If you have yet to explore the mall, here's a glimpse of what you can find inside

The mall is home to District 21, a unique indoor adventure park featuring obstacle courses, rock climbing, and a post-apocalyptic-themed environment

It also boasts Icescape Ice Rink, the largest Olympic-sized ice skating rink in Malaysia, which regularly hosts ice hockey games, speed skating, and major performances

Movie lovers can enjoy one of the biggest GSC cinemas in the country, featuring multiple screens and premium viewing experiences

Families, on the other hand, can visit the mini zoo and indoor farm, where children can interact with adorable animals in a fun, hands-on environment

Sports enthusiasts aren't left out either, with a dedicated sports centre offering badminton courts, futsal arenas, and other fitness facilities

Aside from all the activities, the mall is also a shopping paradise, featuring over 700 stores with both international and local brands spanning fashion, tech, and everything in between

There's no shortage of dining options either, with countless restaurants and cafés catering to all tastes.

With the expansion, the mall will add approximately one million square feet of net lettable area (NLA), increasing the total to 3.5 million square feet.

According to IOI Properties, there are plans to include a purpose-built concert hall, designed to host various events and performances while attracting a younger crowd.

Additionally, visitors will soon be able to enjoy a 10-acre central park, offering a peaceful outdoor space for relaxation and recreation.
