A Japanese man has gone viral after sharing the results of playing a fitness game on Nintendo Switch
Twitter user @_kz9, who is a self-described 'otaku', said he played Ring Fit Adventure for six months and it has since changed his physique entirely.
The 24-year-old anime fan shared photos of his transformation with the world, where one shows his rotund body prior to playing the game in November 2019, while photos taken in July 2020 flaunts his new muscular body.
The game not only made him lose weight and get healthy, it even gave him the ladykiller V-shaped abdominal muscle, as well as other abs and chest muscles.
His transformation has amazed thousands of netizens.
At the time of writing, the tweet has garnered over 82,000 likes and 23,000 retweets.
In the comments, @_kz9 said that he spends an hour playing Ring Fit Adventure every day, with 25 to 35 minutes of the time being actual exercise activities.
Hong Kong media HK01 reported that the hot stud has played the game for over 100 hours, while screenshots of his in-game achievements show that he has burned 21,000kcal, ran 175km, and recorded 29,000 pushes with the Ring-Con - a wheel-shaped accessory where a unit of the Nintendo Switch controller is attached to track the player's movements.

He regularly uploads photos of his protein-packed meals on Twitter.
Ring Fit Adventure was launched in October 2019. It is an adventure game that comes with an engaging storyline, fitness-involved tasks, and mini games.
Players have to follow the movement instructions on the screen in order to complete various obstacle courses and defeat bosses.
Other than Ring-Con, the game also comes with a Leg Strap which acts as a pedometer. The game is priced from RM425, while the Nintendo Switch console costs RM1,399 onwards.
