In case you didn't know, the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Show (MAHA) 2024 is happening from now to 22 September, and it's open to all for free!
The largest agricultural showcase of its kind in Southeast Asia, MAHA 2024 officially kicked off on 11 September, and is expected to attract a total of three million visitors and 3,500 entrepreneurs.
Taking place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), it will mark the 100th anniversary of MAHA. Featuring the theme 'Harvesting Tomorrow Where Dreams Blossom', the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security aims to leverage innovation to address global challenges and ensure the nation's food security.
At MAHA 2024, visitors young and old can witness the latest development of the agri-food sector, while learning about sustainability, food security, and more. Plus, there are tonnes of family-friendly activities to look forward to!

There will be six zones to explore, each with its own unique attractions
ZONE 1: Welcome and Premier Area
ZONE 2: Agro Lifestyle
ZONE 3: State Pavilion
ZONE 4: Magical Nights and Water Activities
ZONE 5: Agri-Park
ZONE 6: Welcoming Park, Veterinary and Agro Engineering Park
Once you've made it to MAEPS Serdang by driving or commuting, you can also easily move between the different zones with internal transport provided — there'll be trams, buses, buggies, and other electric vehicles available for visitors.
1. Enjoy browsing through various lamans, or parks, set up to give you a firsthand experience of different agricultural industries
Look forward exploring various flower and vegetable gardens, while gaining knowledge on the local paddy, pineapple, and herbs industry, among others.
2. Animal lovers, you'll definitely wanna check out zones dedicated to local farm animals, fishes, and more
As you plan your visit, don't miss out on the Veterinary Park and Fisheries Park, where you can get up close and personal with various kinds of livestock.
3. Feeling a little hungry? There'll be a Food Truck Park where you can fill your belly!
From coffee vendors to local F&B food stalls, you'll get to taste a bit of everything at the Food Truck Park. Just grab a bite to-go or find a spot to take a break with your family before continuing to explore the exhibition.
4. Shop to your heart's content and don't go home empty-handed
After experiencing MAHA 2024 and getting a taste of all kinds of produce and agro products, you can bring them home as well. With many local and international exhibitors, you'll lack no options, whether you wanna stock up on frozen foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, or other products.
