Malaysian Offers Safe, Women-Only Rides In Subang Area From RM5

Getting a safe and affordable ride just got easier for women in Subang and PJ, thanks to Sarah, a local driver who started her own women-only carpool service
She drives a Perodua Myvi, ensuring female passengers feel safe and comfortable while travelling around the area.
"Been reading lots of cases of girls getting on rides and encountering weird and uncomfortable situations, which I really don't want to happen to any girl anymore! So, I started my lil girl carpool. Most girls face problems with transport, especially at night or after work timings. Sooo, I'm here for you!" Sarah shared in a post.
She covers popular shopping malls, especially for after-work rides, including:
- Sunway Pyramid
- DA MEN Mall
- Summit USJ Mall
- Main Place Mall
- Subang Parade
She also takes passengers around:
- SS15 area
- Taipan area
- Sunway Mentari area
Sarah added that she can take up to four passengers at a time, with fares starting from RM5
Snacks will be provided for passengers, according to her post.
Her initiative has been widely praised, with many women appreciating the safer alternative
Some have even asked her to expand to areas like Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, and Klang.
Due to the growing demand, Sarah has started a WhatsApp group for women interested in booking rides.
