Parents, if you're looking for ideas on where to bring your kids to over the school holidays, look no further than the enchanting gardens of the newly-opened Central Island Park in Batu Kawan, Penang

Located in the heart of Bandar Cassia, the massive park considers itself the first of its kind. In fact, what you're seeing is simply the first phase of park, which will eventually span 25 acres.

The green sanctuary is part of a mega-scale development called Aspen Vision City, which will also house the soon-to-open IKEA Penang with an integrated shopping centre, a commercial and financial precinct, residences, a four-star business hotel, an international school, and a medical centre.

The park's biggest highlight right now is the Four Seasons Floral art piece, a magnificent floral arch representing spring, summer, autumn, and winter

It looks even better in the evening!

The park also houses a man-made lake featuring a 50-metre water jet display

In case you're wondering, here's what the park looks like from a bird's eye view
