'Dark Knight' fans arise, Pos Malaysia has just released a series of exclusive Batman stamps and other collectibles
In collaboration with Warner Brothers Consumer Products and DC, Pos Malaysia launched limited-edition Batman merchandise in conjunction with its 80th anniversary this year.
There are two sets of products to choose from: '80 Years Batman Folder Set' and '80 Years Batman Special Pack'.
The '80 Years Batman Folder Set' has nine items in total
The folder set comes with three souvenir covers, totalling 11 stamps, three stamp sheets, and two postcards.
Two of the souvenir covers contain five perforated Batman stamps, while the third cover has a holographic foil effect bearing the 'Batman 80 Years' logo.
"The stamp collection will feature 10 images of the Caped Crusader from artistically distinct periods across his comic book history, exhibiting the evolution of the Dark Knight over the past eight decades," the product page on eziEmall reads.
As for the '80 Years Batman Special Pack', it has three exclusive items
In this economical special pack, there are three perforated Batman stamps and a black envelope.
There is also a detachable postcard featuring seven Batmans, including 'Batman: Knightwatch' drawn by Korean artist Jim Lee and 'Batman #700' by Grant Morrison.
The Batman folder set is priced at RM120, while the special pack costs RM10
According to New Straits Times, there are only 8,000 sets available for the folder sets and 4,000 sets for the special packs.
