Singapore Airlines Is Holding Walk-In Interviews In KL To Recruit New Cabin Crew Members
Worth a try if your dream job involves travelling the world!
Ever wanted to be a cabin crew member and see the world? You can seize the opportunity with Singapore Airlines this July!
Singapore Airlines has long earned a reputation for providing excellent service and hospitality.
If you've had the pleasure of flying with the airline, you've most likely experienced those very qualities and warmth from its friendly cabin crew members — even watching them stroll through the airport in their trademark uniforms, all smiles, can be a cool thing to witness too. :D
Fun fact: Did you know that Parisian couturier Pierre Balmain designed the sarong kebaya in 1968? This makes it one of the longest-serving uniforms in the skies!
For one day only, Singapore Airlines will be having cabin crew walk-in interview sessions on 29 July at Pullman KL City Centre
Whether you just finished high school, graduated college, or are just plain interested in joining the hospitality industry, Singapore Airlines welcomes all genders aged 18 to 35 years old to join its world-class cabin crew.
Here are some requirements you should ideally meet:
- Pleasant personality and service-oriented
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Minimum height requirement of at least 1.58m for women and 1.65m for men to carry out safety and emergency procedures onboard
- Minimum qualification of five SPM credits (including English) / five GCE 'O' Level credits (including English), or Higher Nitec and above (if applicable)
- Former Singapore Airlines Cabin Crew members are welcome to apply
Besides the chance to live and work based in Singapore, there are more than a few other perks of being a cabin crew with the airline
Successful applicants will go through a four-month training programme — considered one of the longest and most comprehensive in the airline industry — where you'll gain valuable skills, from first aid and CPR lifesaving techniques to professional grooming and proper service procedures.
And, the nice thing is, you will receive a basic salary during training! Once you complete the programme, you'll get an attractive salary package with allowances based on your flight patterns and flying hours.
To sweeten the deal, Singapore Airlines offers crew members free travel to any of its destinations once a year, on top of discounted travel tickets at other times. Cabin crew members also enjoy medical and dental benefits, as well as an alluring annual leave scheme when they join.
So, if you're keen on being a cabin crew member of a premium full-service carrier and joining one of the world's most awarded airlines, don't miss out on Singapore Airlines' KL walk-in interview sessions this July
