16 May is always a special day for most people in Malaysia
Every year, this date is set aside to commemorate those in the teaching profession, as Malaysians from all walks of life celebrate the unsung heroes who have helped to shape the future generation of our country.
It's definitely not unusual to give out budget-friendly gifts to our favourite teachers as a way to say "Thank you".
However, nowadays people have stepped up their game when it comes to appreciation gift ideas.
Forget boring mugs or photo frames for teachers. Take a look at these kids and their DIY-loving mums who took the time and effort to make creative and thoughtful gifts:
1. Knowing that teachers may have their hands full sometimes, a mum and her child thought it was a good idea to create a special "emergency kit" for teachers
2. That kid who gave a cup filled with goodies to remind their teachers that they're "tea-riffic"
