Guys, the wait is almost over! The much-anticipated retail and lifestyle destination, The Exchange TRX, will officially open on 29 November.
1. Check out Malaysia's first 10-acre activated rooftop park, a.k.a. TRX City Park, which is home to more than 150 plant species
TRX City Park is a sprawling oasis seamlessly connected to open spaces with cascading greenery, a children's play area, water features, and beautiful shaded areas.
The urban "Eden" also provides a relaxing environment, as well as wellness amenities like a jogging track and multipurpose events lawn for yoga sessions.
Beyond just a leisure spot, the rooftop park is a hub for the community to celebrate arts, culture, community, and sporting events, making it KL's most scenic location for festivals, concerts, and more.
In fact, you can already look forward to Christmas activities with your loved ones, including Santa meet-and-greets, Christmas Batik painting workshops, and jolly performances. As for New Year's Eve, mark your calendars for an array of celebrations, such as a concert with international celebrities, a drone show, spectacular fireworks, and tantalising food!
Additionally, the rooftop will regularly feature live music, specialty stores, and artisan markets.
2. The Exchange TRX's Beauty Galleria brings the world's most sought-after beauty brands into a dedicated space that blends lush greenery with modern sophistication
Within the thematic precinct, you'll find Swiss luxury skincare brand La Prairie making its first appearance in Malaysia, as well as one of the world's oldest luxury cosmetics brands, GUERLAIN.
In case you didn't know, GUERLAIN is a French perfume, cosmetics, and skincare house that's among the oldest in the world. Synonymous with luxury and elegance, GUERLAIN will be opening its first standalone boutique in Malaysia at The Exchange TRX's 'Beauty Galleria' precinct.
Cult beauty brand Drunk Elephant also makes an entrance with its first ever brick and mortar store globally.
3. Shop at first-to-market brands and never-before-seen concept stores, like Maison Kitsuné, GENTLE MONSTER, and Alo Yoga
Get ready to step into GENTLE MONSTER's first ever physical store in Malaysia, known for their unconventional frame designs. Plus, each boutique features a unique, unorthodox look and a truly distinctive ambiance — we can't wait to see what their outlet at The Exchange TRX will look like!
As for fitness enthusiasts, Californian workout apparel brand Alo Yoga offers a collection of adaptable apparel that's both stylish and functional. The well-loved brand even has fans among celebrities like Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid.
Fashionistas, you'll be excited to know that Maison Kitsuné will also be opening shop here in The Exchange TRX. Its collection of contemporary fashion pieces are influenced by Paris and Tokyo, combining comfort and simplicity with laid-back cool and au courant sophistication.
Within Maison Kitsuné, you'll also find the world famous Café Kitsuné, bringing with it specialty coffees and French-Japanese desserts. Café Kitsuné pays tribute to the pleasure of enjoying a quality coffee in iconic locations, such as Tokyo's Aoyama district or Paris' gardens of the Palais Royal, and now, The Exchange TRX. This will mark the café's 29th outlet globally.
The coffee served at the Café Kitsuné is full-bodied and flavoursome, with notes of chocolate and grilled hazelnuts, and a texture that is both smooth and syrupy.
4. Seibu is bringing in Malaysia's first Japanese food hall! Plus, Shake Shack, Amazonas by Kenny Hills Bakers, and Tipsy Flamingo are also spots you'll wanna check out if you're a foodie.
Seibu's Japanese food hall will be making an entrance into Malaysia at its lower floor in The Exchange TRX. The food hall will feature a range of Japanese cuisine offerings such as ramen, sushi, a sake bar, and wagyu beef options for all the Japanese food lovers in Kuala Lumpur.
Arguably one of the most popular burger chains in the world, Shake Shack is known for its gourmet Angus beef burgers, as well as its viral secret menu items. Now, you'll get to try it for yourself, right here in Malaysia!
Located at the rooftop park, you'll also find Amazonas by Kenny Hills Bakers. A new venture by the Kenny Hills Hospitality Group, Amazonas introduces a vibrant Latin American rooftop restaurant and bar concept, offering sharing plates inspired by the region, open-fire cooking, fun cocktails, and late night DJ fiestas.
Singapore's Tipsy Collective will introduce Tipsy Flamingo, which will offer a unique blend of futuristic décor and the vibrant ambience of a summer pool party inspired by the 80s. Sit back, sip on some cocktails, and enjoy an array of colourful fusion dishes inspired from all around the world.
But that's not all! From Japanese flagship department store Seibu and other lifestyle brands, to Golden Screen Cinemas' elevated concept a.k.a. Aurum Theatre, The Exchange TRX promises to have something for everyone.
