With CNY just around the corner, cookie preparations and spring cleaning schedules are in full bloom. And amid the bak kwa munching comes another crowd favourite — say it with me, singles... ANG POWS.
Instead of gifting ang pows in paper packets (that more often than not just end up in the bin), sew X dignity has come up with these reusable fabric ang pows
The best part is that you can reuse and pass them on to others or keep them for yourself as mini clutches. :P
It comes in multiple fabric designs, each one hand-sewn by youth and women/mothers from the refugee community in Malaysia
All profits are then channelled back to Dignity For Children Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that provides community learning centres for underprivileged children.
The 'Dignitypao' comes in three designs – Transformational, Oriental, and Abundance. The Transformational and Oriental designs are available in a set of three for RM38, while the Abundance design comes in a set of five for RM58.
There's also 'Envelope of Blessings', which comes in three colours – Fuschia Geometric, Red Geometric, and Red Cherry Blossom – and are available at RM38 each.
You can get the fabric ang pows on its own or in sets with Orange Pistachio and Florentine cookies or jars of Wild Flower and Acacia honey.
