Ever felt like just spending a few days in the middle of the ocean, far away from society, with nothing but stunning sunsets and unforgettable dives?

The Seaventures Dive Rig is a one-of-a-kind dive resort located off the coast of Sipadan Island, Sabah.

It's a decommissioned oil rig that has been transformed into a unique diving platform, offering you the chance to stay and dive in one of the world's most biodiverse marine environments.

It's also the first and only live-on-board dive rig in the world.

Sitting on top of a thriving coral reef in the middle of Celebes Sea, the four-storey structure provides stunning views of the surrounding islands and ocean

Guests can literally just step off and start diving, as the dive rig offers unlimited house reef dives.

The only catch is that there are no guides available for this. But if you're new to diving, you can pay an additional fee for someone to guide you.

There are also guided boat dives to Sipadan, Kapalai, and Mabul Islands. If you're feeling adventurous, night diving is also an option.

Even if you're new to diving, the rig offers courses ranging from open water diver to dive instructor certification

They have packages for both divers and non-divers, with experienced guides and equipment rentals available.

As a diver, you can enjoy sightings of everything from sharks and turtles to manta rays, octopi, clownfish, lionfish, and other fascinating marine life.

There are over 20 dive sites around Sipadan, each with its own unique attractions. Some of the most popular sites include Barracuda Point, South Point, and Coral Gardens.

Mabul and Kapalai Islands, located near Sipadan, have incredible macro diving, said to be some of the best in the world.

If you're feeling daring, there's an exhilarating 20-metre jump off the rig's platform

It's truly a bucket-list worthy escape for anyone looking for an adventure!

After a fulfilling day of diving, unwind on the rig's sun deck, where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening or stargaze under the refreshing night breeze
