Sometimes, all we need on a rainy day is comfort food, and this hidden gem tucked away in Shah Alam serves exactly that

Nestled in Sunsuria Forum, Setia Alam, Loba.png is a charming restaurant that's run by one guy who handles everything — from cooking and serving to cleaning up and collecting payments. So, do be patient if you're heading there!

This cosy space, with its intimate setting accommodating up to eight people, is dedicated to the mastery of a single dish — Taiwanese braised pork rice (lu rou fan).

Each bowl comes with a hearty serving of braised pork rice, accompanied by some vegetables, and topped with a fried egg

The dish sells out pretty quickly, so you'll need to get there as soon as the restaurant opens to secure a spot.

Loba.png opens its doors at noon and usually sells out between 1pm and 2pm, especially on weekends.

Despite that, many customers agree that it's totally worth it, as the dish tastes just like the ones you can find in Taiwan. Some customers say that it has more of a minced meat texture rather than a fatty one, and that it leans towards the sweeter side.

If you're unfamiliar with the area, Loba.png can be a little tricky to find
