This Quaint, Hidden Coffee Shop Is Located In A Back Alley Of A PJ Neighbourhood
Simplicity at its best.
Located in a little nook in a back alley in Section 17 is a cosy coffee shop that serves local dishes and drinks in a chill environment
Kopi Pintu Belakang, as its name suggests, has an entrance that's a back door of a terrace house in Section 17, Petaling Jaya.
While the front half of the shop serves as an arts workshop space, the unused back patio and kitchen area has been turned into a small coffee shop that gives off a quaint kampung charm.
Serving buffalo sandwiches, nasi lemak, coffee, and chocolate beverages, Kopi Pintu Belakang is a lovely hidden gem for those who appreciate simplicity
Decorated with potted plants and old school furniture, this rustic space, which opened earlier this year, offers a quiet escape that's a far cry from the extravagance of modern cafés we often see today.
The coffee shop was established as a space where the art community could gather, connect, and share with each other. And what other perfect way to do that than through mengopi (coffee time).
With the exception of Sunday and its rest days, the coffee shop is open from evening onwards. So, if you're lucky, you might be able to catch a beautiful sunset over a meal or drink.
However, take note that the space is small and only able to cater to a maximum of 10 customers at a time.
