#Bajet2022: B40 Teenage Girls Will Be Given Free Sanitary Kits Monthly
It is estimated a total of 130,000 young women will benefit from the new initiative.

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said the government will be distributing free sanitary kits to teenage girls in the B40 community on a monthly basis
During the tabling of Bajet 2022 today, 29 October, Zafrul said the initiative will come under the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development (KPWKM).
It is estimated a total of 130,000 young women will benefit from the new initiative.
On the topic of women's health, RM11 million will also be allocated to subsidise mammograms and cervical cancer screening
Zafrul added that sex and reproductive education will continue to be taught in schools.
