Banting Victim's Sister Asks Her Not To Worry As She "Will Take Good Care Of Our Parents"
"Your pain, I understand, and I know you wanted to come home so badly," she wrote.
In an Instagram post, the younger sister of Yap Xin Yuan, the teen murder victim whose decomposed body was found last month in Banting, has promised to "take good care of our parents" for her
The post, uploaded yesterday, 2 January, after a DNA analysis confirmed that the decomposed body discovered on 28 December at RTB Sungai Changgang, Kuala Langat, was that of Yap, is a raw and touching expression of love and loss, showing the complexity of human emotions in the face of death.
Yap's younger sister, in her heartfelt and deeply moving tribute, captured the profound sense of love, regret, and longing, with a wish to remain sisters in their next life.
"In our next life, we will still be sisters. Be a beautiful little angel up there! Eat well and grow chubby! I will forever and always be your little sister. Be happy every day in heaven and don't let us worry.
"I still need your guidance. I will always remember you and think of you every day," she wrote, promising Yap that she "will take good care of them [our parents] for you, so don't worry".
Can you appear in my dreams every day? I really, really miss you…
She assured Yap that no one could ever replace her
While expressing regret for past arguments and actions, she acknowledged the hardships Yap must have endured, saying, "Your pain, I understand, and I know you wanted to come home so badly."
"You are always welcome at any time! I still want to say, I'm sorry…
"You can now rest peacefully up there. In the next life, I will treat you even better.
"Thank you for all the guidance you gave me over the years. I will always be here.
"Rest in peace, sister!"
Meanwhile, earlier today, 3 January, Yap was cremated with her parents and both younger sisters present at a crematorium in Cheras
