Losing your bank card in a foreign country is an absolute nightmare. A solo traveller in India faced this exact dread after accidentally leaving a debit card inside an ATM in Kerala, India

The traveller only realised the card was missing after reaching New Delhi, a five-hour journey away.

Desperate for help, the traveller reached out to a DHL employee she had exchanged contact details with earlier that day.

Against all odds, the employee checked the machine and found the card still sitting on top of the ATM 24 hours later.

But with it being a Sunday, shipping was unavailable, and the traveller was scheduled to fly out just 36 hours later

Later that night, the employee called the traveller and asked her to come downstairs.

He had enlisted two friends, braved the heat, and ridden six hours in an auto rickshaw to hand-deliver the card, completing a 14-hour round trip.

The traveller, who goes by the Instagram handle @indiawitkin, took to the social media platform to praise the kind-hearted Samaritan

"Tell me karma doesn't exist," she said in her post.

The worker, identified only as Krishna, even refused a cash reward, insisting she keep the money for her holiday budget.

The heartwarming story quickly went viral, drawing widespread praise from netizens.
