Elderly COVID-19 Patient In ICU Ward Allegedly Sexually Harassed A Nurse
The 60-year-old man was receiving treatment at Melaka Hospital.

A COVID-19 patient in Melaka Hospital allegedly sexually harassed a nurse on Friday, 9 October
According to Harian Metro, the suspect is a 60-year-old man who was receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The victim claimed that around 5.45pm, the patient harassed her while using vulgar sexual language.
The nurse's police report has been making its rounds on social media and it states that the man forced her to hold his penis
State police Criminal Investigation Department chief ACP Mohd Nor Yhazid Idris confirmed with The Star that a police report was lodged by the woman on Saturday, 10 October.
The nurse's statement read, "While I was attending the patient, he made a phone call to a woman and turned on the loudspeaker on his phone. During the conversation, I was drawing his blood and I heard the woman ask what he was doing to which he answered, 'I'm having sex with the staff nurse and if you don't believe me, you can make a video call.' I was worried because there were only two of us in the room."
She then continued to explain that the man had asked her to hold his penis and place it inside a condom catheter. The nurse refused and insisted the man do it himself.
After bringing the issue up with the hospital's upper management, they urged her to file a police report
Mohd Nor Yhazid told New Straits Times that the investigation is still ongoing.
Meanwhile, state health director Datuk Dr Ismail Ali noted that authorities are aware of the incident and an internal investigation is being conducted.
He also assured that health authorities would give their full cooperation in the probe.
