Elderly Man Shot While Cleaning Restaurant In Alleged Drive-By Shooting In TTDI

According to New Straits Times, Brickfields district police chief ACP Anuar Omar said police only received a report from the 69-year-old victim yesterday, 1 February.
The victim said the incident occurred while he was cleaning the restaurant on Jalan Aminuddin Baki.
The man had not realised he was shot until he inspected the wound that caused him sudden pain
"During the incident [on Sunday], the victim was cleaning the restaurant kitchen at around 12.30pm when he felt a sharp pain at his armpit and found a wound at the area," the police chief said in a statement yesterday.
"The victim then saw a piece of metal in the shape of a bullet near his feet and went straight to a private clinic for treatment."
The case will be investigated under Section 37 of the Firearms Act 1960 for the use of firearms
According to Anuar, the case will also be investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder.
