Fahmi Fadzil Under Quarantine After Lembah Pantai Office Staff Tests COVID-19 Positive

The employee that tested positive had recently returned from Sabah.

Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament (MP) Fahmi Fadzil announced that he has temporarily closed his Work and Training Centre in Kuala Lumpur after an office staff tested positive for COVID-19

In a Facebook post, Fahmi said that his employee has been admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital for isolation and treatment.

He added that the staff member had returned from Sabah last Friday, 25 September.

Fahmi said the rest of the office staff and himself were considered close contacts and have gone to Tanglin health clinic to be screened for COVID-19 as well

"The last time I went to Sabah was on 5 September to 6 September, and the last time I was in contact with the said staff was on 21 September," Fahmi clarified.

He said that his office staff and him will undergo quarantine for as long as the Lembah Pantai health office instructs them to.

The MP said his service centre will be kept closed for as long as they are under quarantine

He also assured that sanitisation and disinfection of the building will be done this evening.

"In the meantime, Lembai Pantai constituents who have arrangements with the office can contact us through Facebook or through e-mail," he said.
