Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park has notified on its website about ticket price adjustments for on-site purchases starting this November

"To avoid any disappointment, please purchase your tickets online for greater savings with our exclusive deals," the company said in a statement, without clarifying the pricing changes.

A representative from Genting Malaysia told The Edge yesterday, 2 November, that while the price for online purchases remains unchanged at RM151, tickets bought on-site will now cost RM170 each.

Genting Malaysia Bhd's operating unit, Resorts World Genting, also stated that all online tickets must be booked at least one day in advance.

The representative noted that the company is trying to implement an online vs on-site pricing strategy

The representative also mentioned that their goal is for visitors to have a better experience since they don't have to queue to buy tickets before they enter the theme park.

They said the theme park is still in its soft opening phase, even though its soft opening was held on 8 February, and they are still offering visitors "a soft opening price" after the price adjustments.

To improve visitors' experience at the theme park, steps are still being taken.

In its most recent corporate presentation, reported by The Edge, Genting Malaysia revealed that up to three new rides at Genting SkyWorlds are expected to open by the fourth quarter of 2022.
