"I Just Ask To Be Hanged To Death" — Singaporean Who Killed Wife's Lover Tells JB Court

A Singaporean man has requested the Federal Court in Johor Bahru to maintain his death sentence for murdering his wife's lover in 2013
Quah Tee Keon was also charged with stabbing his wife, reported Berita Harian.
"I don't want to be pardoned. I just ask to be hanged to death. Thank you," said the 56-year-old, withdrawing his application for a review of his death sentence yesterday, 17 July.
After hearing this, Chief Justice Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat, Datuk Nordin Hassan, and Datuk Hanipah Farikullah dismissed the review application, thus maintaining the death sentence.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Ng Siew Wee handled the prosecution, while Quah was represented by lawyer Bernard George.

In the heat of passion, Quah killed Ruan and seriously injured Loong, who was 33 at the time, reported The Straits Times,
Ruan and Loong were reportedly former colleagues in Singapore. Loong was Quan's second wife.
Quah was arrested after surrendering to the police in Kuala Lumpur on 28 October 2013.
