The co-founder and owner of a troubled local airline, MYAirline, was arrested yesterday afternoon, 17 October, along with his wife and son

According to Bernama, the co-founder holds the title of Datuk.

"The Datuk, 57, who is also a shareholder of the airline, was arrested along with his wife, 55, and son, 26, at their residence in Shah Alam at 5.30pm," the national news agency quoted Bukit Aman Commercial Crimes Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf as saying.

Applications for remand for the three individuals will be submitted today, 18 October

They were detained to assist in investigations under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (AMLA).
