Low-Suspension Proton Waja Slammed For Causing Traffic Jam After Being Stuck On Speed Bump
The incident is believed to have taken place in Sabah.

A video showing a modified Proton Waja getting stuck on a speed bump while holding up traffic has gone viral on Facebook
In the 16-second video published by Malaysian Modders on 12 March, the Proton Waja — that is believed to have undergone a low suspension modification — is seen stuck on a speed bump.
The Waja is likely to have attempted to drive over the speed bump diagonally — a popular way to distribute the vehicle's weight onto different suspensions at different times so that the vehicle will not sink as low while going through it — which ends up blocking two lanes of the road.

While it is not mentioned where the incident took place, several vehicles in the video are seen carrying number plates from Sabah.
A red Perodua Myvi is seen taking an exit turn on the right after being stuck in the congestion, while other vehicles patiently wait behind the modified Waja.
According to CarsDirect, a vehicle with lowered suspension provides better aerodynamics, improved traction and handling, reduced rollover risk, as well as greater comfort.
However, the disadvantages include uneven tire wear, potential conflict with other parts, lifting and towing problems, and increased bottoming out.
The US car trading site specifically mentions that crossing a speed bump will be "problematic".
At the time of writing, the video has gone viral with over 5,800 likes and 1,200 shares.
Many netizens were in stitches after watching the video.
"How dare they block the road of King Myvi," a Facebook user said in jest.
Several netizens also took a jab at a popular sticker commonly found on low-suspension vehicles: "Be patient, I'm lowered".
"'Be patient, I'm lowered.' ABCDEF U, and your car and your sticker," a person said, parodying a song by Gayle.
"The vehicle surely has the 'Be patient, I'm lowered' sticker. It doesn't matter if your car is lowered and doesn't trouble others," read a comment.
Other netizens reprimanded the Waja driver for causing inconvenience to other road users.
"I can't [imagine] if there is an emergency, (such as when a) fire truck, ambulance, or VVIP who wants to go through. The owner's face will turn blue," wrote a Facebook user.
"Cars make it convenient for us to move around, they should not make our lives difficult," said a netizen.
"(You) trouble others and yourself. Please use some common sense next time. Cars are made to make our lives easier, not to make us become slaves to them. I'm sorry that I'm not interested in lowered cars. It's so troublesome," added another person.
